A Max IV is a six wheel drive "Amphibious All Terrain Vehicle" or AATV for short. This AATV was originally built by "Recreational Industries." It is powered by a 769.8cc (46.98 cubic inches), 20hp Kohler twin cylinder, four stroke motor. This particular Max IV has several upgrades including 26" tires on 12" bead lock rims, solid axles and an easy shift kit. It has two levers to turn and uses a "skid steer" type steering system.
It has more than enough power to climb steep inclines, traverse swamps and bogs and even verture across the lake. This particular Max has been gps clocked at 32 mph. As you can image it is a blast to drive.
